Schneider Engineering provides inspections of various scope and requirements, and prepares project tracking reports complete with observation photographs.  We partner with our Clients and/or Contractors, maintaining an open line of communication - resulting in a successful project and quality assurance for our Clients.

Our inspectors conduct routine quarterly work order inspections for Clients to ensure compliance with the Utility's applicable design standards and governing safety codes, such as NESC and NEC.  Our inspections are fully compliant with RUS requirements and include annual system certifications and RUS Form 219, or other work order closeout documentation.  Our reports are complete with photographs and required corrective items.

Our construction inspectors are industry leaders at managing medium and high voltage electric construction projects of any size and complexity.  We mobilize based on project need and scope to satisfy our Client's requirements.  Full time inspectors coordinate and monitor contractor performance on a daily basis.  Effective communications with contractors allow for scheduling and monitoring major milestones in projects.  We document deficiencies and successes, and distribute reports complete with progress photos and status to facilitate a complete project that satisfies codes and meets schedules.

By performing infrared inspection services, we are able to measure variances in temperature and view thermal energy emitting from transformers, power lines, fuse boxes, etc.  The inconsistencies in colors detected by the infrared camera enable us to determine and diagnose areas of concern that are not visible with just the human eye.

SE offer this service to Cooperatives, Municipals, Investor-Owned , and Industrial Power Customers.  Our high-performance FLIR infrared equipment provides high-efficiency, multi-spectral dynamic imaging.  With Wi-Fi connectivity, it allows us to send images and data to smart-devices - enabling us to share critical information quickly.

Upon completion of the inspection, SE provides exact details and possible solutions to any deficiencies to the Client.  Routine infrared inspections are an invaluable, preventative measure that can aid in early detection and correction of any underlying issues that may result in a safety hazard.
